The PDBx/mmJSON file format is a JSON representation of the PDBx/mmCIF data developed by PDBj. The following services use the mmJSON format directly:

Mine PDB Explorer
Mine CIF Query service
Molmil
CIF tree tool

Implementation details and PDBx/mmCIF parsers which can be used to build mmjson files can be found on GitLab.

PDBj also provides the mmjson files of the PDB, chem_comp, chem_comp models and PRD/BIRD entries via our Data site and can e.g. be retrieved via rsync from the following locations:
